FAQS

Do I need a permit for my project?

Seawalls and some decks are typically the only projects we install that require a permit through the state. Most projects near a lake or stream require soil erosion permits through the county. Outdoor Spaces Landscaping can complete those applications and drawings on your behalf. Landscaping is also the only home improvement that can be done that does not increase property tax but does increase home value.

Do you do the tear down and removal?

Yes! We tear down and remove most anything, from unwanted trees to eroding seawalls, concrete and decaying decking. We even tear down old sheds, and are capable of demolishing larger accessory buildings as well.

How do I know what my project will look like?

Our design team does a great job putting together a 2D drawing of your project along with several supplier showrooms available for you to touch and feel the products installed on your project.

How badly will my property be torn up?

At Outdoor Spaces we strive to have a mess free worksite but with that said, we do live in a weather dependent area and each site is project specific.  Some sites may require more excavation and movement of material.  Those job sites typically are encouraged to install sod at the completion of the project to reduce tracking of mud and continual erosion.
